TK0469-D. Atlantic Sailfish (Istiophorus albicans) feeding on Spanish sardines (Sardinella aurita). The fastest fish in the sea capable of swimming 60mph in short bursts, sailfish are also very maneuverable and, working together, they herd the baitfish toward the surface. Then the sails take turns racing into the baitball, using their sharp bills like swords to slash at the sardines, knocking one out of the school and stunning it, after which the sailfish swallow the sardine whole. Gulf of Mexico, Mexico, Caribbean Sea.<br />
