TP0350-D. Sand Tiger Shark (Carcharias taurus) swimming inside the shipwreck of the Aeolus. This fearsome looking species is actually quite harmless towards people unless seriously provoked. However, its reproduction is more bloody. It is embryophagous. Baby sharks, after having developed inside eggs in the uterus, hatch and cannibalize their siblings for nourishment. The two strongest pups survive and are born live at about 3 feet long as miniature near replicas of the adult, ready to live life on their own. North Carolina, USA, Atlantic Ocean.<br />
