TP0657-D. Atlantic Spadefish (Chaetodipterus faber), big school swimming together midwater. They grow to nearly 3 feet long and inhabit depths between 10 and 110 feet deep, distributed from Massachusetts south to Brazil, including the Gulf of Mexico. Juveniles shelter in mangroves, adults in open water and over sandy bottoms as well as near shipwrecks and oil platforms. North Carolina, USA, Atlantic Ocean.<br />
